Shipping rates

Delivery is curbside only at this time. Slane Vintage Modern does not employ any personnel to assist in any of the handling of purchases beyond the curbside, or driveway of drop off location. Upon purchasers request Slane Vintage Modern can assist in acquiring hired help to assist you the customer in the moving of purchased item beyond the point in which Slane Vintage Modern has made its final dropping point of purchased item. The fee for acquiring such assistance will need to be paid for by the customer before the date of delivery to Slane vintage modern or to the hired help if the arrangements have been made between the hired help and the customer. 

As of 7/20/22 all shipping fees are a flat rate of $125.00 USD between the locations of, Ashland Oregon and San Jose California. Branching out 10 miles in either direction off of Interstate 5 between Ashland Oregon and Vacaville California, 10 miles in either direction off of interstate 80 between Vacaville California and San Francisco California, 10 miles in either direction off of interstate 680 between Cordelia California and Milpitas California,10 miles in either direction off of interstate 880 between Oakland California and San Jose California, and 10 miles in either direction off of interstate 101 between San Francisco and San Jose. Deliveries beyond these boundaries are subject to additional fees depending on traffic conditions, road conditions, and distance, at the sole discretion of Slane vintage modern. 

Purchased items can be picked up, free of charge by anyone who the purchaser approves of and will need to coordinate a location along our delivery route with Slane Vintage Modern the day before delivery. The location and time slot will be within a few miles of any of our main routes listed here, and in between a 2-3 hr time window.

Terms & Conditions

General

Slane Vintage Modern reserves the right to change and amend these terms and conditions. You are responsible for reading the terms and conditions. You shall be able to proceed with your purchase but urged to read and agree to these terms and conditions. Whereas your purchase will confirm you have read them and release Slane Vintage Modern from all liability of instances caused by your purchase and item purchased. 

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Slane Vintage Modern harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to your use of the Site and/or your breach of these Terms of Use.

Price and Payment Terms

All products and prices are subject to availability. Prices are listed in dollars (USD) and subject to change without notice. Full payment is due prior to shipping. 

Limited Warranty / Liability

Slane Vintage Modern warrants its products against defects in the finish of any product that has be refinished or modified by Slane Vintage Modern for a period of six (6) months from date of purchase, provided the product was used for the purposes for which it was intended for and was used under normal conditions. Warranty does not include wear and tear or damaged due to improper climate conditions. If damage or defect occurs due to refinishing of a product that Slane Vintage Modern has refinished under normal conditions we will retain the item and refinish the damaged area within a reasonable amount of time at no charge. Slane Vintage Modern will require digital images of refinished area that has failed before proceeding with retaining the damaged product. 

The warranty is to the initial purchaser and is valid while they own and retain the product or products purchased from Slane Vintage Modern. Slane Vintage Modern will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from any product defect.

Once Slane Vintage Modern has been notified of a problem with the product, we will replace or repair the product/products purchased from Slane Vintage Modern that are damaged or defective or refund to you the amount paid for the goods in question, under the sole discretion of Slane Vintage Modern. Slane Vintage Modern will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage, arising out of any problem in relation to the product/products purchased from Slane Vintage Modern. Slane Vintage Modern shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund made under these terms and conditions. When purchasing from Slane Vintage Modern you agree to the terms and conditions written here and release Slane Vintage Modern of any and all liability of damage, injury and death resulting in improper use, lack of care taken to insure safe and proper practices of household items, including the lack of or improper mounting of any items securely to prohibit items from any movement that causes bodily harm or death, fire or smoke damage due to any products of a vintage and used nature, that have been implemented into the living environment and are not up to the current International Building Code, or have defects in them that limit the ability to be used in a safe manner, such as but not limited to, faulty wiring due to age, or improper use, defects in spark or fire suppression attachments of products due to their original vintage condition, even if it’s been modified slightly to be made usable, but still has defects, in order to retain its vintage and original state, and from any and all manufactures defects of items purchased from Slane Vintage Modern or those items in which Slane Vintage Modern has delivered to your location weather or not purchased from Slane Vintage Modern.

Return Policy

Please note, Slane Vintage Modern’s return policy may differ from those of its retail partners.

If you receive a damaged shipment from Slane Vintage Modern, you may exchange it for an equal piece at no additional charge. Or a refund of the purchase price, tax and delivery fee will be initiated within 48 hours of receiving damaged product. We will make every effort to replace the damaged piece with an equal piece in a timely manner, but is dependent on our next delivery scheduled. Which I’m some instances can be over a month but not more than 2 months. It is required, however, Slane Vintage Modern receives notice of defects within 24 hrs or upon accepting delivery. If after delivery has been accepted, digital images of the damage area will need to be provided to Slane Vintage Modern before refund or replacement can be initiated. 

Whenever signing for a product delivered to you, you are stating you received it in good condition. You have the right to make the deliveryman wait while you open up the box to make sure all pieces are intact and free of defect. 

Due to the vintage nature of our products and the resale market having trends we are unable to accept returns on items that the customer has taken possession of, but will assist the initial purchaser of products bought from Slane Vintage Modern, re-list and resell the product for maximum market value with no promises to equal the initial price in which it was purchased from Slane Vintage Modern. In the event you cancel your shipment while en route or if the package is considered “undeliverable” by the freight company at destination, you will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs. Your credit card will be refunded minus the shipping costs plus a 25% restocking fee once ihas been inspected at the warehouse.
